After we have
blasted Dr. Feinstein's preposterous Holocaust course
History of the Holocaust (JWST 3521) in our
critical study entitled
Dr. Feinstein has placed in his 'Curriculum
Modeles' webpage at
<chgs.umn.edu/educational/curriculum.html> the
entire <iSurvived.org> Holocaust remembrance
website on his blacklist, being first in his
ranking [sic!], surpassing even the No. 1
Holocaust Denier site !!!
In Dr. Feinstein's
world, questioning, criticizing and/or scrutinizing the
merits of his academic courses and standards is a no-no
proposition as the tranquillity and the comfort of his
academic settings created is being disturbed and that
cannot be tolerated --not by a long shot, for sure--
by Dr. Feinstein.
The
<iSurvived.org> website is being characterized by
Dr. Feinstein as, and we quote, "Very combattive
[aka 'combative'] and arrogant site." And
that, in Dr. Feinstein's mind, is considered to be more
dangerous even than the most notorious Holocaust Denier
sites !!! All this, of course, reveals
--first-hand, perhaps-- Dr. Feinstein's current
sorrow state of mind and his criteria of evaluating
Holocaust websites, or for that matter anything else.
(God forbid for a
student of Dr. Feinstein to question and challenge
him on anything related to his teaching --as that student
is through, for sure!)
What is most
troublesome for us is that Dr. Feinstein, in the
same 'Educational' webpage, lists all of the most
notorious Holocaust Denier websites that need not pop up
and be publicized under any pretext whatsoever. This, in
our considerate view, is a grave error of judgment on
Dr. Feinstein's part, as we refuse to believe that
it represents a premeditated, deliberate act of
publicizing Holocaust denial websites.
Below, without
additional comment, we post Dr. Feinstein's
blacklist where we have substituted, as needed,
certain referenced words with the word 'BLIP'.

In Dr.
Feinstein's current revised "Unreliable Websites"
section, our Holocaust survivors and remembrance
website has slipped to the 2nd place (after
Wikipedia). But our website still gets the most
attention from Dr. Feinstein, as now this text is
being posted:
"Very
combative and arrogant site that can be
classified as a denial site, with little
original material, whose alleged author
has been exposed as supporting a hoax
organization under the guise of being
survivor-oriented. It has no sense of
scholarship or historiography. For outside
documentation on this, see: Report on
Kalman K. Brattman and the Holocaust
Survivors Network or its Appendix. The U
of M's CHGS has also been attacked by this
site for disagreement."

Dr. Feinstein

To put Dr. Feinstein's mind at ease, we are absolutely
independent and do not support or being supported by any
organization. Dr. Feinstein is indeed most welcome
to reveal to us his discovered "hoax organization under
the guise of being survivor-oriented" as we have no clue
of the existence of such an organization. We have no
problem whatsoever to publish in here, in full, that
revelation or, for that matter, any material that we may
receive from Dr. Feinstein with respect to this or
any other related matter regarding his ludicrous posting
that is being paid not by Dr. Feinstein but by the
University of Minnesota.
Continuing
in responding to Dr. Feinstein's posting
(as silence for us is not an option), we indeed have
"little original material" as aside from our detailed
definition
of the
Holocaust
(that is by far the most visited single page of the
entire website) and is designed to give the "tone" of our
website, we have no other significant "original
material." The reason for this is quite simple as the
scope and purpose of this website of ours is to publicize
the available Holocaust online material that we can find
to be reflective to the "tone" that was specified in our
stated Holocaust definition. For more information on
this, please visit our 'About'
page.
We indeed are
merciless, and offer no apology, when we encounter Jewish
people like Dr. Feinstein, Eric Saul, or Solly
Ganor that make a mockery of the Holocaust, its teachings
and representations, and its tragic legacy.
We recognize that this odd triangle
wants us to go away reverting to all sorts of pathetic
things and tactics, but we are here to stay for the
foreseeable future.
The "outside
documentation" that Dr. Feinstein is referring to is the
one of the disgruntled Eric Saul, exposed by us in full
in here.
Dr. Feinstein should know better that, in an academic
setting, the integrity of a particular documentation is
of paramount importance, being critical indeed, for the
advancement of a particular point. Anything to be added
here is superfluous on that "documentation."
Finally, it is
difficult to find a single person, in his/her normal
state of mind, to consider or to view our website as a
Holocaust "denial site" and, as such, we cannot help but
feel sorry for Dr. Feinstein's current state of
mind. It is indeed a tragedy of monumental proportion in
one's life when one is being robbed by the most precious
evolutionary commodity that we have: the Mind.

March 4, 2008, Dr. Stephen Feinstein,
65, died unexpectedly of
a brain aortic aneurysm (that resulted
in a heart attack) while speaking
at The Sabes Foundation Minneapolis
Jewish Film Festival.
May he rest in peace.
