On Dr. Wilkie's Untruthful Apology

We respectfully take exception to Dr. Wilkie contention that he " was not speaking on behalf of Oxford University or any of its constituent parts" when replied to Mr. Duvshani's inquiry as this proposition it offends our intelligence.

In his response, Dr. Wilkie is using the University email address, is responding in reference to an inquiry of a specific Ph.D. program offered by the University and, is invoking at the end of his email his full academic title within the University. How in God's name anyone can construe anything but that this was the official answer coming from the University.

And if this untruthfulness of Dr. Wilkie's apology is a reflection of his true character, then watch out and be not too surprised to find in Dr. Wilkie's work forged or fabricated scientific data to accommodate a particular desired result or to find scientific work done by his younger associates and attributed to him. Yes, the true portrait of Dr. Wilkie may be quite different indeed from the one that he attempts portraying to us.
